The Workforce Futures Fund, Tahua Rāngaimahi Anamata, supports eight industries that offer critical services in our communities.

The eligible workforces are: Aged support; Cleaning; Disability support; Home and community health services; Mental health and addiction support; Social services; Urban pest management; and Youth work.

The fund supports innovation in workforce development and demonstrates the value of strategic investment through enabling:

  • Greater use of technology

  • Collaboration across workforces

  • Projects that amplify the capacity/capability of workforces.

The fund seeks projects with large impact across one or more of the sectors/industries. Projects that benefit one workplace/organisation or where the benefits will not be made as widely available as possible will not be supported.

We fund innovative and large-scale impact in the areas of:

Development of vocational training, workforce development and education

Best practice and continuous improvement in services

Attracting people to work in the sectors and workforce retention

Priority will be given to projects that:

Deliver sector wide or multi-industry benefit

Positively impact workers who are:

Māori;

Pacific;

Disabled
