
The Workforce Futures Fund, Tahua Rāngaimahi Anamata, supports eight industries that offer critical services in our communities.
The eligible workforces are: Aged support; Cleaning; Disability support; Home and community health services; Mental health and addiction support; Social services; Urban pest management; and Youth work.
The fund supports innovation in workforce development and demonstrates the value of strategic investment through enabling:
Greater use of technology
Collaboration across workforces
Projects that build or improve service delivery.
The fund seeks innovative projects with large impact across one or more of the sectors/industries. Projects that benefit one workplace/organisation or where the benefits will not be made as widely available as possible will not be supported.
We fund innovative and large-scale impact in:
Vocational training, workforce development and education
Best practice and continuous improvement in services
Attracting people to work in the sectors and workforce retention
Priority will be given to projects that:
Deliver sector wide or multi-industry benefit
Positively impact workers who are:
Māori;
Pacific;
Disabled
